The Association of Leadership Programs is thrilled to partner with Leadership Knoxville to bring the 2023 ALP National Conference to beautiful Eastern Tennessee! The Gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains!
In Knoxville, they pride themselves on their unique mix of natural beauty, outdoor adventure, and cultural attractions. In other words, it's a-nature-loving-adventure-seeking-artsy-kinda-town. We can't wait to welcome you! The 2023 National Conference will be held July 24 - 27.

Hotel Information
The conference host hotel is the Marriott Knoxville Downtown
The Marriott Knoxville Downtown is conveniently located just steps away from the Knoxville Convention Center, where the ALP National Conference will take place. The Marriott Knoxville Downtown is located at 525 Henley Street, Knoxville, TN 37902.
A special group rate of $176/night will be made available to ALP National Conference Attendees.
Rooms must be booked by June 15, 2023, to receive the group rate. If the room block sells out before June 15, availability is on a first-come, first-served basis with the hotel should there be cancelations. Registering via the online link will help ensure ALP meets its room block obligation.
As of May 18, 2023, the room block is 90% full. If you have trouble booking, please email events@alpleaders.org. Rooms are currently available, and an error message does not indicate a full room block but is likely an adjustment needed on our internal end for your reservation to process.
Registration Costs
Register for the conference early and take advantage of the Early Bird discount rate.
Register two or more attendees from your organization and receive an additional discount only during the Early Bird registration period.

The National Conference will kick off at 3:30 PM ET on Monday, July 24, but why not arrive in Knoxville a little early? Participate in a half-day pre-conference workshop to hone your leadership skills or take part in an adventurous excursion. To participate in pre-conference activities, plan to arrive in Knoxville between 10:30 AM and 12:00 PM ET on Monday, July 24.

Travel Information
Airports near Knoxville
Knoxville’s McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) is the closest airport to Knoxville, Tennessee, and is located just 12 miles from downtown Knoxville. McGhee Tyson Airport boasts 120 daily flights from more than 20 nonstop destinations. Downtown Knoxville Transportation
Knoxville is proud to offer FREE trolley service downtown and to the nearby University of Tennessee campus. Trolleys run until 6:00 p.m. on weekdays and offer late-night service on weekends. A stop is conveniently located near the ALP National Conference Hotel and the Convention Center.

Leadership Program Assistance Fund
20% of all 2023 National Conference Sponsorship revenue will be placed in the newly formed ALP Leadership Program Assistance Fund. Programs that are unable to cover the total cost of conference registration are able to apply for registration fee assistance.
A maximum benefit of 75% of the registration fee may be available to each eligible registrant and is limited to one individual per organization.
